“For anyone that has said that is has not made much difference, they obviously haven't got skin that needs this product. I had acne for well over 10 years. “I wrote a review back in 2014 after buying my first tube of Silver Serum. It wasn't the incredible instant effect others had raved about, so I needed to give it more time before seeing if it was really worth buying on a regular basis and my review reflected this.
I've had some truly horrendous issues with my skin since then and have been on and off antibiotics for a long time, with varying degrees of success. The same can be said for the Silver Serum, HOWEVER......stick with it! I've recently discovered that if I use just the Silver Serum at night and then in the morning apply Silver Serum, followed by Calendula Cream to moisturise, it seems to work amazingly well. My skin has now been clearer than it's been for a very long time and although I think I'll always get occasional breakouts, they seem to clear up far quicker and don't look as red and angry. My mother even told me the other day that my skin was looking 'peachy' and she certainly isn't one to hold back on the truth! I decided that wasn't bad for a nearly 53 year old, who's had anything but 'peachy' skin for her entire life!
Two useful tips to pass on; Firstly, you really don't need much at all. In fact I've found that if I use too much, it has a negative rather than positive effect. With this serum, less is definitely more (unusual for me, as I have a tendency to slap skin cream on thickly, thinking it'll work better!). This also means that the tube lasts a lot longer than anticipated, so works out as better value for money.
The second tip is another money saving one; When you get to the end of the tube and are struggling to squeeze those last drops out, don't throw it away. Instead, take a small, sharp pair of scissors and carefully cut round the neck of the tube, ensuring that you leave around a quarter of an inch uncut when you get near to the end, in order to create a sort of hinge. You'll see that the tube you thought was empty, has probably at least 5 days worth of serum left inside it (if you're being careful with the amount you use). I keep the tube stood on its end (the lid) and just let gravity do its thing. The serum will drop in to the neck and lid and then when needed, you simply gently bend back the main body of the tube, scoop out the amount you require and then carefully bend forward the tube to sit back on top of the lid/neck. You may want to stand it in a small dish, as depending on exactly how much is left, it can slightly ooze out of the edges of the cut area, but you'll soon discover what works best for you. I do this whilst waiting for my new order to arrive and it always keeps me going until I receive my new tube and the very last drops have been scooped out (it's like scraping out the bowl when making a cake....only in skin cream form!).
Silver Serum isn't 100% perfect and isn't an instant cure for everyone, but I wouldn't be without it now. I can only advise new users to give it plenty of time and not give up.”
“I get spots that pop up over night and are angry red and huge in my face, I put this on bout three times a day when that happens and it's great at reducing the redness for a start and normally within 24-48hrs they is a huge difference, I wouldn't be without this in my bag, if my skin feels irritated I put a little of this on, works for me. “I bought this product to help reduce and get rid of my acne. To be honest I don't even have acne I have a few pimples in clusters on my skin and under, If anything I have light acne. This stuff is supposed to clear mild/severe in 3 weeks I used this stuff for 2 months not one change! It made it worse! Trust me! Nothing changed one bit. Not one pimple left my face and when contacting the skin shop they replied once to me and said 'leave it a bit longer' are you being serious? And when I messaged them again the following month they ignored me blatantly because they new it was not working. Please do not buy this and waste your money like i did. Go get a good product not this.”
