I have been using the liquorice balm for about 5 years. I used to get cold sores every 3 or 4 months but rarely get them now. In fact, I haven't had a full blown cold sore for several years now. Might get the odd "tingle" but it doesn't develop into a full cold sore. I use the balm most nights.

Been using these two products for a while now and I recommend to everyone. I have suffered with cold sores since my teens. In winter when my lips get dry they break out and I can’t seem to clear them up. Using these products (balm several times a day and gel as and when) I haven’t had a cold sore. Won’t be without it. Please don’t stop producing it!

I bought this as I currently have a cold sore. The gel has not made any difference to the healing process. In fact, the cold sore isn’t really healing at all. Be aware it is easy to squeeze too much product out the tube which is a waste. However, the texture of both gel and balm is good and quite pleasant tasting and I think both would be good to keep lips moisturised.

Great product not only for banishing cold sores (first treatment I've ever used that works on them) but also for helping repair dry lips which in turn prevent the dreaded cold sore

Works really well on my dry lips and seems to help with avoiding getting cold sores. My only niggle is I cannot find either on the website or on the actual product, if the is a use before date.
