“I was having clusters of cold sores and had a course of aciclovir tablets. I wanted something to help prevent future outbreaks and the duo lip balm/gel set just seemed to make sense. It’s only been a couple of weeks but so far so good as I have had a tingle, applied the gel and no cold sore appeared. The gel didn’t dry out my lips like traditional remedies can but equally neither product is as moisturising as I would like.”
