“I have had rosacea for many years but thought it was acne because it mostly manifested in bumps and little spots all over my cheeks and the occasional flushing when temperatures changed or I drank alcohol. About 2 years ago a doctor I went to see for a different condition mentioned in passing to me that I had rosacea, which she could see by noticing the little bumps all over my cheeks and the visible veins on the side of my nose, even when covered in make up. I didn't do anything about it for the longest time until I had a terrible accident last year which left me with (still visible) surgery scars on my lower face an neck. I became so depressed and self-conscious about my skin, which now in addition to the bumps and spots, had scars, that I barely left the house anymore. One day I thought "well I can't do anything about the scars right now but maybe I could at least try doing something about the rosacea" so I went online and did some research. After a lot of looking around I came across the Kalme range and very half-heartedly ordered the Basic Kit with absolutely no expectations whatsoever. Now, about 7-8 months later, I can say it has changed my life. My scars are still there and very slowly getting pink (instead of bright red) but my bumps and spots are pretty much gone. I have added the Kalme Undercoat to my routine and this has really put the cherry on the cake so to speak. I use the cleanser at night only, then a pretty thick layer of Undercoat and then either the night cream or day cream in the morning. I have to say that I absolutely love the day cream. It calms my skin down like nothing else, it is literally soothing all the itchiness and dryness I would otherwise feel on my cheeks within hours after waking up. I also have almost completely stopped flushing, even when I drink wine now, which was unthinkable before. And with reduced occurrences of flushing I have noticed that I get barely any spots/bumps anymore. It truly is a miracle and I beg you to never ever discontinue it! Cannot recommend it highly enough!”

It's really soothing and moisturizing on my skin, while at the same time not feeling greasy or white like a lot of zinc oxide sunscreens do.
