“My teenage grandson had tried various acne treatments which either worked but left his skin dry or didn't work at all - I got him a tube of Clarol Silver and Birch Exfoliating Face Wash to try and he hasn't looked back.
It's not as cheap as some products available on the market but you only need a small amount (so a tube lasts a fair while) and its effective, with no drying side effects.
