“I have got to say i am disappointed. The wood should come treated - its a messy and unnecessary job and extra cost. I also shouldn't have to attach the bar ends - they should already be attached. And after attaching them, they are loose and so i have had to glue them on - hardly what you expect from an expensive hand rail. The fitting instructions are poor and whilst the finish is nice, i dont think it's value for money.”

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking time out and leaving a review. All our timber handrails do come unfinished as per the product description. Customers have many different finishing requirements to try and offer this service and satisfy every individual need would make the handrails extremely tidious. Again with the end caps we don't add them on as a lott of our customers cut the timber down and customise it at their end. Again thank you for your review and hopefully this explains a few things. “The only thing wrong is the end caps are loose.Otherwise an excellent product. I think l have probably got the rail half a metre too short but that's my mistake. Super delivery service..Thanks John.Crossley..”

“Good quality wood and brass fittings, the rail looks great in place. We had a small issue with the bungs not holding the brass end caps firmly in place, but the company have offered new bungs and adhesive which is fair enough (Thats the only reason we didn't score 5 stars)”
