“I bought the Zero4U to expand a Pi Zero W from a wireless print server to a file and print server using USB storage. The Zero4U is easy to fit and worked first time. My printer was recognised without any reconfiguration and the USB memory (64GB) worked immediately it was plugged in.
One very minor problem. The LEDs on the Zero4U are very bright. For applications where the Pi needs to be unobtrusive you would need to think carefully about a light-proof case.”
“Shipped quickly and ordering through the website was easy. Unfortunately the supplied ferrite ring does not adequately block the interference from the WiFi signal and so the USB continually reboots and all the connections are unstable.”
“I have a witty pi which i bought from the makers a year ago but this is a neat piece of kit and more so than the usbx3 +RJ45 from a micro usb pug. Just one regret! It would have been better (?) if all 3 usb sockets were on the same side as the zero sockets”
“Update to previous review now sorted works flawlessly piggy backed with pi zero W. My problem was traced to 2 things, wifi received signal strength too low. Also the psu's I used were also part of the problem my 2 pi3 PSU's didn't play nice. Works fine with an Amazon fire stick psu.”
“Product it self is good. It can expand connectivity of Pi Zero. But, bundled spacers are short, and it makes Pi Zero board bend much. Finally, I used own 5mm spacers instead of bundled one.”
