“The Smart Relay (With Neutral) won't go behind a switch, and the Smart Relay (without Neutral) won't work with Hue bulbs. Since most UK lighting circuits have switches with no neutral (the N wire is used as a switched live), it seems here's no solution that will work if you're using Hue bulbs. However ... these relays are small enough to fit in the lighting rose, or in the ceiling void above the light, where you will find a neutral - just make sure you use the real neutral, and not the blue wire that's acting as the switched live. Perfect. Also, the prices at Pimoroni are very competitive, and their service is outstanding.”
