The Smart Relay (With Neutral) won't go behind a switch, and the Smart Relay (without Neutral) won't work with Hue bulbs. Since most UK lighting circuits have switches with no neutral (the N wire is used as a switched live), it seems here's no solution that will work if you're using Hue bulbs. However ... these relays are small enough to fit in the lighting rose, or in the ceiling void above the light, where you will find a neutral - just make sure you use the real neutral, and not the blue wire that's acting as the switched live. Perfect. Also, the prices at Pimoroni are very competitive, and their service is outstanding.

What's not to like about the ZBMINIR2? It's small, and I'm using it add humidity-controlled operation to my dumb inline extractor fans. No problem pairing this with the zigbee mesh and add it into home assistant under the control of Z2MQTT. It's also a zigbee router so the mesh gets stronger as well. Lots of options, including controls for any externally connected switches and inching if you use it. Fast delivery.

Great little relay. Using it for an extractor fan replacement. Easy to wire up and get connected to Home Assistant using Z2MQTT. Delivery from Pimoroni was exceptionally fast.

Nice and small easy enough to install and there is lots of help available to know how to wire it up. Works every time with the sonoff pit motion sensor and home assistant.

Detected by hass after wiring in- so much more responsive than the so off minir2 WiFi units I used to use. Switch itself has a better sensor in ha that makes triggering automations when in detached relay mode much more reliable than the WiFi model.

Wired this up to my Kitchen strip light (ceiling, not switch end) and seemlessly synced with my Home Assistant setup. The cheapest and most efficient way to make that light 'smart' and save energy partnering it with a Zigbee presence sensor.

Just like the no neutral version a good and affordable relay option. Not as sophisticated as similar Shelly options but price reflects this and is also simpler to wire and setup.
