“Working well - I only have switched line and neutral going to a junction box on the garage ceiling for the lights so I leave them switched on and have used the line terminal and the line out terminal with S1 and S2 not connected. It's connected to Home Assistant and is triggered on by a Sonoff PIR. At the moment I'm using an IKEA switch to turn it off in the hallway outside the garage, but may change that to a mmwave sensor. I would have put it behind the switch, but the backbox was too full.”
“As always, I received the ZBMINIL2 smart relay very quickly from Pimoroni. Their deliveries as some of the fastest I've experienced.
The device itself is a good fit for UK light switches wired in twin and earth, with Live to the switch, and Switched Live to the fitting + CPC are the only connections available.
I did need to use a back-box extender/collar as there is little space in my back boxes, but that's not really a problem with this product.
Powering up the lighting circuit had the relay in the Zigbee network within a few seconds and added to Z2MQTT in home assistant.
The S2 input allows for the relay to also be operated by the switch in the fitting, independently of any automations. It comes with edge mode switching by default but can be changed to pulse switching using three quick presses of the button on the case, if needed. This is unlike the ZBMINIR2 (with Neutral) that allows the switching mode to be changed programmatically.
Overall this is working well in my lighting applications.”

Ideal for standard UK wiring with no neutral at the switch.
If you have slim back boxes like we did, you may need to install deeper ones. I found a 35mm box gave ample space for the relay and switch wiring.
