“This side panel offers a self-contained analog audio lab, with a waveform generator, vu-meter and speaker that can work independently of each other or stringed together with board wires.
Having purchased all three side panels, I'm quite happy with this particular one, mostly because the self contained nature of this panel makes it easy to play with.
As with the other panels, I find the build quality a bit lacking, with lots of flux residue on the back of the board plus some crooked connectors. And, as with the other panels, I find the documentation sorely lacking. This kit is clearly oriented to the educative market, so I think a 9 page purely informative manual (that you need to find and dowload) is not good at the price level this is selling.
A digital booklet of experiments would go a long way to get a much more positive review.”
