“The side panel offers a good array of sensors, but the poor build quality (backside is full of flux residue, and some of the components come crooked), plus the fact is designed to work mainly with the mini-lab (which I cannot recommend in its current state), is a big turn off.
Kits like these live and die by their documentation, and documentation for the side panel is close to non-existent, making references to datasheets that aren't there and examples that you cannot access, specially this kit, as it works with devices that may need specific libraries. While documentation for these libraries are common, so are these components in a separate, and cheaper form.”
