“This side panel offers a good series of inputs -as well as some outputs- to start prototyping your projects. This panel is actually the most useful of the three if you want to buy the lab for prototyping purposes -I only miss maybe a 5-way switch, but space is limited.
Having said that, several things prevent me from giving it a better score: Build quality is a bit lacking. These are clearly hand soldered, and they put no effort in cleaning the flux gunk. All three boards had this issue but this board in particular was extremely dirty and sticky - it easily cleans with alcohol and cotton tips, though -. All connections were functional but I remade some of the solder joints as they had too little or too much solder.
Second and most important, this kit is clearly designed with education in mind, but the documentation is lacking. This may change in the future if they add an digital experiment booklet or something similar.”
