I've only had this a short time, so I can't review the long-term performance of this sensor. I bought this along with two of the cable attachments and a Sonoff Zigbee USB stick to attach to my Home Assitant server, to monitor pipes in my attic following a leak there. I'm impressed by the range of the signal - there are two floors between the sensor and receiver and it works fine. I'm mostly impressed by the sensitivity when combined with the cables, but I left a separate review for those.

Easily linked with homeassistant using my sky connect controller (no need for sonoff hub). Very quick response time to water leak, even small amounts. The included extension cord is also very sensitive to water and increases the detection coverage. Note that you need to wait for it to dry out before it starts reporting 'dry' . I bought a spare cord to swap with the wet one to allow it time to dry out.

These water leak sensors are impressive but time will tell. It's not obvious, but the "cable" like attachment greatly extends the scope of a sensor. They are very sensitive to water, only a small splash on the "cable" is instantly detected as a leak. It took about half an hour to dry out. When nearly dry you may get some flip-flopping between wet and dry for a while but this doesn't appear to happen once fully dry.

Simple to setup and easily paired straight to Home Assistant via ZHA integration. The extension sensor cable looks useful and it’s installed under a kitchen counter to monitor a dishwasher and sink, just in case!

Neat unit that works well and is providing me with some peace of mind that my washer and dishwasher isn't leaking.
