“I ordered the large back cover and this easily cleared a pHAT DAC with the phone connectors fitted. However, it also prevented the screen from tilting back far enough for viewing and using the camera in video-conferencing and selfies. The small back cover allows much more tilting and resolves the problem.
It loses a star, for me, by having no cable access to any card in the 40-way connector, nor for an extension ribbon connector. It was just possible to squeeze an audio cable via the space for the Pi's video/audio connector cable.
It is quickly removed in order to gain access to pHATs on a temporary basis, but is a bit expensive for modification with drills and saws for a permanent solution.
It is robustly and accurately made and fits around the Pi ports very well. It is held in place by four large screws that are screwed into brass threaded inserts.”
