Well mine was not working in the app. Suposedly the difference between schematic of this and what i got differs. Online schematic has 4 10k resistors and 2 caps, this has 2 resistors and 1 cap. Had some tweeking to do for my ADAU1701, but i design a pcb and ordered enconders to be faster.

Worked fine with Micropython v1.19 and connected to a Plasma 2040 driving RGBW Neopixels. The complete project can be found here: https://www.instructables.com/Balanced-Lighting/

Comes with headers perfect for breadboard. Pairs well for input on Raspberry Pi Pico.

This is a very nice module The rotation is smooth and the push button is precise. The encoder is debounced itself in hardware which simplifies the code needed to get going The fact that it include a button cover is very nice too

Really handy module which makes prototyping on a breadboard much easier than with a bare rotary encoder. Works great and has all the pinouts you need for rotary control and the 'click' on the encoder button.

I ordered this as it was quoted to having a low number of pulses (15) compared to the rotary encoders I have (30). Unfortunately it has more pulses than it states (20).

Cheap, and works fine. Doesn’t particularly like being rotated fast, tends to miss steps if you do, but otherwise, good.
