“Have used Element 14 boards for MEMS Accelerometer work before, but need to improve on IMU capabilities for a marine project (no stable references at power up!). This should do the trick, or at least give some insight into limitations.. but probably have to wait until after Christmas to get tried out.
Love the small footprint, but not so sure about the mounting hole, given that it needs to be mechanically rigidly mounted to sense properly... will have to use board edges.
Simple electronic interface is nice.”
