“The 45W Pi PSU is the best USBC power supply that I have ever used. This is my 4th - I use them all for everything. It's a terrible idea NOT to buy one to use with anything USBC as it supports full QC/PD voltages and is dead stable. Plus any Pi 4 or 5 based unit really needs it to stop the annoying messages about inadequate power. I'd be really annoyed about this were the PSU not very cheap for what it is.”
“Used with Pironman 5 MAX cases comprising a Pi 5 and 2 x SSD's. Despite my PoE splitters all claiming to support the required 5A I was getting random shutdowns when intensively using just one of the SSD's (encoding video). Going back to one of these official 45W power supplies has resolved the issue and both units have been working perfectly since, including under heavy processor and SSD loading.”
