Being cheap yet having so many GPIO pins, it is my go-to microcontroller for almost every project, especially with the flexibility of the pins, being able to be used for I2C, SPI etc.. as well as just normal programmable GPIO pins. I personally like to use circuitpython for mine, but the huge support for the devices with MicroPython and even Arduino/Pyduino is great.”
