“The Pi500+ looks uniquely amazing. It's a great little piece of kit and runs RPOS and Ubuntu very capably.
I managed to program my own rainbow-ripple effect keyboard pattern; looks amazing!
The SSD is great too. Would recommend”
“A beautiful addition to the Raspberry Pi range.
The keyboard feels so nice to use. I think the led might be switched off.
The Pi comes with a internal NVM which makes the boot process even faster.”
“Well, so it's a Pi5, behaves like a Pi5 and so on. However it has a preloaded NVMe drive and after entering the wifi details on first boot it was connected and running. The keyboard is nice to type on with the mechanical keyboard giving good feedback. The LEDs in the keyboard are cool and whilst they have some predefined patterns are infinitely customisable.”
“What can I say... excellent piece of gear. If you are upgrading, the built in SSD, 16GB ram, plus the great keyboard are more than enough to justify this over a PI5 or PI500. It came with Bookworm installed, but I upgraded to Trixie with no issues whatsoever.”
“The pi was out of stock so I registered to get an email when it came back in. The email came, I ordered and the computer was delivered very quickly!
It was well packaged and everything was as expected.
I have previously ordered from Pimoroni and I will order from them again in the future!”
“A no-nonsense, computer-in-a-keyboard system, much like those early '80s machines that plugged into the TV. The PXI memory provides a performance improvement over the Pi 500 and the mechanical keyboard has a nice, tactile response. I have a lot of computer equipment at home, but I could imagine a more casual computer user having a Pi 500+ as their main, one-and-only machine. Slightly negative comments: Mess of cables coming out the top end of the keyboard; power, video x 2, ethernet, mouse. Also, why on Earth are the characters on the keys so small? Don't forget to do the full upgrade to the latest operating system ;O)”
“This product is a masterstroke, an all-in-on Linux PC suitable for everyday desktop use as well as for developers and experimenters, and with a fantastic keyboard to boot. Minimal power consumption will ensure you save £££ in running costs over a traditional desktop.”
