Great bit of kit, only loses a star due to lack of an audio out port

Quick delivery, as normal. I have been using the pi500 as a desktop replacement and so far it does the job. Web browsing and email work smoothly, I have also been doing some programming and web design and that too has been handled easily. My main concern when looking at the design was the passive cooling, however the temperature has remained below 40 degrees, no matter what I have thrown at it. I have set it up to boot from an NVMe drive in a USB 3 caddy, which certainly helps performance. Prior to owning the pi500 I have had many pis, 1,2,3,4,and 5 with 4gb RAM, zero and zero2, and this is the first one that has truly felt like it could replace a desktop for daily use, the 8gb of RAM is a big plus. All in all a good value for money piece of kit. 10 out of 10 from me. p.s. Just been using th pi500 on a computer vision project and it was very smooth.

I have a Rpi 5 but fancied the formfactor of the 500 and I love it. Nice quality product, just as you would expect from Raspberry Pi.

Very impressive, a huge upgrade over a Pi 400. Even comes with a ready setup 32GB SD card.

Excellent solution for a workshop machine paired with the official Pi display.

As with all rPi, the micro hdmi connection is unstable. With the Pi 500, this is a real problem! Moving the keyboard will blank the screen.

Hi, I've been waiting eagerly for this because I loved the Pi400. And this is no disappointment. I absolutely love keyboard based computers being an old Amiga, Atari ST and 800xl owner. I can't praise it enough.
