“I have purchased three of these things since the Pi Foundation started rolling out version 1.3. One of them works. The working one I ordered from Pimoroni with a starter bundle; I'm starting to wonder if it was from the original batch, because it is flawless. The second one came from Adafruit. It didn't power on (no green light or any video output), and the processor would just heat up; not to mention there were splinters on one edge of the board from improper depaneling. That company didn't respond to my return request so I threw the board away. Now the third one I ordered here, and it has the exact same power problem. I guess that's the joke with the new Pi Zero, that it's literally zero product; an utter laugh in the customer's face. They're probably being produced out of China by the droves without any quality assurance whatsoever, because apparently we just don't have time to do some basic testing before taking people's money! So if you're considering buying one of these new Zeros, don't waste your time; spend the extra money and get a Pi 3. I've bought four of those and every single one is perfect.”
“It is not easy today to buy something that will keep your children at attention.
When ZERO brought home to us more than just a piece of IT technology. Children quickly learn to experience the benefits of a mini computer. Now research in robotics soul, secret surveillance camer and of course the possibility of easy portability of a mini computer. Nosi sitting behind him and is enthusiastic. For our family, there was definite best product on the market in the development of children in science. We now have a total of 4 in the family and we are waiting for further 2pc Pi ZERO. I strongly recommend to all. M. Grossmann”
“I live in Canada so the dream of a $5 Pi is non existent. Luckily I got it for a decent price here and I am very happy with it. Delivery was also super quick considering it had to travel halfway across the globe.”
“It's the best.
In Japan, it is not very buy price.
We were able to finally buy.
I'm happy.
We have various challenges in the future.
We also would appreciate your favor in the future.”
“I love that you can do many thins with it, from a tiny linux computer, to a wireless monitoring system for your garden(sensors needed here). I have some ideas to make with it like a portable gaming console, an arcade, a media center, but the main purpose that i bought it is to use it as a server for my IoT and a point of sale that receives data from those devices.”
“Mi Pi Zero get lost in the mail...

“I have been experimenting a lot during the last few years with RPIs and similar ARM based computers to create a hassle free high quality audio player. I ended after a couple of turns with a Squeezebox player based on the PiCorePlayer images. It starts relatively fast and runs entirely from RAM. You can just shut if off, no need to shutdown And it supports I2S based DACs like Hifiberry out of the box providing superior sound quality.
The RPI Zero allows now to build such a solution for an unbeatable price.”
