“Far exceeded my expectations... Yes its limited in overall capability but worked a treat for a small remote dot matrix display project. That's pretty standard stuff, but it also supported running an old Belkin USB WiFi dongle (connected directly via the adapter) which allowed setting up the Pi Zero to work with VNC for all the other stuff I needed to do with it without tieing up a screen and keyboard.”
“I got my first Pi Zero free with a magazine years ago when it first came out. It was amazing then, I wanted it to have WiFi (which it didn't have) so had to solder a USB dongle to it and stick it on with hot glue. This new one though has WiFi built into it! Meaning my project is even more compact than before! I put it inside a tiny wooden box (£150 at the works) with holes drilled in for a USB cable and an infra red LED. Now my Pi can control my robot vacuum cleaner when I ask Alexa to do so! It would have cost an extra £150 to get one that was Alexa compatible!”
