“You definitely need the 27w charger to supply the pi 5 with the power it needs, seems to work very well I've had no messages about not enough power. Usb c is a lot better than micro usb which is very fragile.”
“PSU's power definitely helps when running USB drives and is more stable than similar/alternative power sources. An improvement would be slightly longer cable as it is long enough just to reach a table top from a power socket on the floor, when fiddling it is useful to have a bit more clearance to connect and disconnect devices.”
