“A fantastic little board, I've used a few pi zeros over the years for all sorts like the naturecam, a weather station etc.
This is my first Pi Zero 2 and just like the zero before it, it's quick to setup and easy to use. I've got this one setup with Octoprint and it hasn't skipped a beat since.
Great value boards that can do (nearly) anything!”
“I now have a few Pi Zero/Zero 2W which I have used on various projects, including several iterations of an “all sky” camera. This latest one is now installed in a birdbox connected to a camera. They are brilliant little devices, inexpensive and with plenty of GPIO pins to interface with other bits of hardware. You’re only limited by your creativity.”
“A cheap and simple board and a great solution for basic projects. I needed a solution for a private DNS which this board is more than capable of providing. I can run it 24/7 at very low cost and extend it to provide other facilities, such as a VPN. I've not even scratched the surface of the uses I could have for the board.
Be aware that, unlike the bigger boards, this takes a mini HDMI rather than micro like the bigger boards.
I was tempted to take off a star is because I purchased the board paired with a memory and, for reasons unknown the card hl came with the 32-bit desktop Raspberry Pi OS rather than the 64-bit Lite command line-only OS. A desktop OS feels like a poor choice for this board. But this isn't the fault of or a flaw in the board.”
