“I needed a Pi for PiVPN, but found my "spare" Zero was having issues. The Pi Zero 2 W is ideal for this task: it takes little room, little power and does the job.
Worth noting that although the Official Raspberry Pi Zero case fits the Pi Zero 2W, the PiBow Zero W case does not. I think some careful filing of the red layer would allow it to be used, however there is a specific PiBow Zero 2 W case.”
“The original Pi Zero W was always a great platform but a bit lacking in horsepower. Now the Zero 2 W gets you lots more without massively increasing the power requirements, which is important in battery powered projects and the option to run 64-bit Raspbian which some libraries now expect.”
