“What a great little board this is for only £6! I have connected it to a Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor and it is providing data to my Home Assistant using MQTT over wi-fi. No further components are needed!”

“The Pico W is a good addition to the Pico line. It's a capable and affordable board with a lot of possibilities. The addition of Wireless (and hopefully eventually Bluetooth) to the pico opens up a lot of potential applications. I wish that the wireless had been integrated into the RP2040 a la an ESP type microcontroller, rather than an additional chip on the board, but that's a minor thing. As usual, excellent service from Pimoroni.”
