“Excellent microcontroller for the price. Working with c++ takes a while to setup and you will probably want to build your own scripts. I haven't tested it with micropython yet but from a quick glance at the documentation its alot easier to set up”

Compiling MicroPython or any other project is also quite easy.
Raspberry Pi Pico is very affordable and considering the BOM, its price is half or third of the BOM cost in small quantities.”
“Extremely easy to get started with and use the Pico. The C/C++ toolchain setup on Windows is a bit fiddly and should preferably be all GNU based without needing partial Visual Studio install. But both MicroPython and CircuitPython are no-brainers to use.
