“Having previously used the Raspberry Pi Zero W the Zero 2 W is a great improvement with fast functionality - very pleased with product, service & Company.”
“The raspberry pie zero 2, is a motherboard worth having. It’s a little bit heavier than the raspberry pie zero. It also runs faster than a raspberry pie zero. It’s very good at what browsing, and runs retropie smooth. It’s still struggles to stream videos from the Internet even if connected to Wi-Fi. But the desktop runs a lot smoother also. For the $11 price the raspberry pi zero 2 is worth having.”
“Exact same form factor as the pi zero W, but way more cpu horsepower...
Without some heat management (radiator, fan, whatever), the cpu might throttle under full load though.
I am using mine as a small portable server/wifi hotspot.
The zero4U is a nice companion for this purpose, as it adds 4 USB (to add storage and a second wifi for instance, so that you can set wan on the pi wifi connected to your phone, and set the shared wifi on the usb key, preferably one with a good antenna. That way you can set DHCP and services on the pi, such as samba shares, a wiki and some tools.)
I use this in the classroom with my students for steam projects.”
