“This is an amazing little beast. Got it in 10 days exactly- it's very much quicker than previous Pis, and I'm confidently using it as a normal computer without any compromises.
Though it does run very hot in the official case- always 70something C unless totally idle. Would definitely recommend giving your Pi 4 a gentle breeze and not shutting it up without airholes. Not enough heat to slow it down, but enough to make me feel guilty for hotboxing the poor thing.
Expecting the Fan Shim to improve this.

Added POE-hat and it is working fine for now. As already indicated elsewhere it is not really a desktop replacement, but it is getting better then previous versions.”
