Ahoy! The Pi Foundation haven't used anti-static bags for a while now, the cardboard boxes now have a special anti-static coating :)

“Exactly as expected. Definitely runs hot as reported by most reviews (quite warm just booting up and sitting for a minute). definitely recommend a heat sink if you are going to run it at full load for several minutes at a time, or a fan if you are going to run it at full load for longer.”
