“This New Raspberry Pi 4 is a real step up on it's predecessor. I have setup my Raspberry Pi 4 to my Tv with bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it runs like a dream desktop replacement. I added a Fan shim just to keep it cool when overclocking, hey I like to roll like that :-)”
“Overheating issues have been highlighted on teh web, so I have had to order a Pi fan and heat sinks, as well I will need to modify the case to include the fan. Would have been good to know that heating remediation is recommended”
“Not the fastest computer in the world, obviously, but for the ultra-low price this is surprisingly powerful. Handles most day-to-day desktop software without problems, even fairly demanding web sites (Google maps in 3D view, YouTube in HD, etc.) run at adequate speed. Does get very hot very quickly sometimes, so recommend getting a heat-sink or fan.”
