“This Pi is a cookin' itself! Its fast, fun and has 4GB of RAM. It runs a little hot due to the extra power consumption and beefier processor. But what's not to like about a hot beefy Pi? Add a dual monitor setup to make it feel like a real desktop, but don't forget the heat sink!”
“My first Pi was the very first model A I bought second-hand and with its 256 MB RAM, it ran as slow as molasses. So imagine my surprise to find how much faster this one ran with better CPU and 4 Gigs of RAM in comparison.
If you plan to use a Pi as your everyday desktop, definitely get the Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB RAM
(and a heatsink case with thermal paste. You don't want it to get any hotter than 60 degrees celsius...
or to overclock it.)”
“Great hardware and faster than its predecessors. Finally an upgrade that is worth the extra cash. However, this model runs hotter than Pi 3 and would need cooling (active cooling would be better). An SD card is not provided with this kit and needs to be purchased separately.”
“This raspi4 can be taken photo with raspi-camaera, but the camera's red LED does not light up.
With raspi3B+, the red LED lights up without any problems.
Insert the same SD-CARD into raspi4 and raspi3B+, and run it.”
“So much faster than the Pi 3 it's not funny. I've unfortunately had 2x failed boards, but Pimoroni customer service has been next level good - hoping that it's 3rd time lucky!”
