“This is an amazing product. This 4gb model is fine for most simple day to day PC usage, and its so cheap and doesnt use much power.
It boots quick too, even from the SD card.
I've found myself using this for a quick check on the internet rather than turning my main PC on. Its only going to get better once USB boot gets released officially.
I would recommend a case with a cooler fan as this does get warm.”
“The GUI is a bit slower than I expected, and claims of desktop-level performance stretch the truth a bit, but overall it's perfectly acceptable, and CLI performance is great.
The hardware that you get is spectacular - very good kit indeed, and very well assembled. No issues installing or running raspbian, and test compilations fly. Extremely versatile, and I've already tried lots of different uses for the Pi4.
