This is probably the best RPi 4 board, 4GB RAM allows for a much better experience with the OS and 8GB is probably overkill for most cases.”

They all work fine and the system is happily up and running. This is now going to be the basis for a Home Assistant setup. I have decided to keep the SD card with the standard Pi OS and buy a second to install the customised Home Assistant OS but this isn't necessary if you only want Pi or Home Assistant but not both.

“This has been so long out of stock, I was beginning to think I’d never get one! Thanks to these wonderful guys, I’ve not only got a pi 4B but also the 4Gb version. As we all know this is the best one and therefore the hardest to find. Do yourself a favour and sign up for stock alerts and maybe you might get lucky like me.
