“I originally bought the 4GB version with a fan shim to run alarm (arch with pi4 kernel) running lxde, x2go, openvpn, deluge and emby as a docker container.
At most, it used 300MB as ram, really low! So I decided to try with the 1GB version and the fancy alu heatsink/case (no fan).
It works a treat, the CPU temp hovers ~73 degrees when decoding 265 media, under the 80 throttling limit. Perfect.”

“I bought it to test some dlib IA face detection from the pi camera. With good optmized compilation face detection run 3 times faster than on Rasperry PI 3 ! As usual with Pi product, it work out of the box with raspbian sd card. A must if you need some CPU power !”
