“After moaning that I couldn't find a decent mini keyboard one of my friends encouraged me to get one of these, and I did , and I'm really happy with it. The key action is nice and the layout seems nice for coding, and vitally, the backslash is where it should be.
Whilst I see the need for the microusb plug etc I suspect it would not survive being sat on or dropped even the once so I replaced that with a usb cable which has a small right-angle microusb plug and taped the cable along the body, so now the plug barely protrudes and cable exits from the left side which works better if you have multiple keyboards/laptops on the go.
Having the usb hub built in is especially handy for pi-zero hacking since you only get the one usb port there.
Overall, very good first impression, so far I'm very happy with it. Let's see how long it lasts :)”
“I got this keyboard as I couldn’t get a replacement for my Raspberry Pi 400. Sugary coffee mistake! Although not a direct swap it was very easy to make a small change to the lightbar and a single key from old to new. (f10) took five minutes and is a perfect replacement should you need it.”
“Love it! Low profile but well defined keys, slight gradient front to back though no fold-out-feet option for those who prefer it steeper. Everything's in easy reach with the mouse close at hand rather than half a body away at the side. Num lock laid out so 7 8 9 in normal spots with 4 5 6, 1 2 3 and 0 laid out below with one touch keys for + (on the ; key next to 3/L) and * (on standard key 0, num lock 0 being down on M below 1/J and 2/K) with -, / and . in their usual places. Lead is just under 1m long. Having 3 USB ports on it is really useful. Will be taking it into the office with me because it's so much more comfortable to work with. How all keyboards should be!”
“Very happy with the Raspberry Pi keyboard at this price point. Pimoroni were superb as had a problem with one of the keys and they sent out a replacement which arrived next day. Fantastic service and support.”
