“Excellent little board. I've made a retro gaming machine and Kodi media player with mine. A 200GB sd card fits everything I could want for gaming and entertainment. Bluetooth and WiFi works great, so I'm using a Bluetooth gamepad - frees up the USB port for a mini keyboard and mousepad for the older 8-bit computer systems. It's everything I could possibly want. I know it only has 500mb RAM but don't let that put you off, game wise it performs just as good as the pi3b+ PS1 works fine, so if you have a pi zero and thinking about upgrading, get this. You won't be disappointed.”
“Great form factor (much slimmer than 3B+, which is quite useful in my case since even though I require USB, I only need the one port, and it's laid out on the side and thus minimizes height. Only needs two improvements: a version without the GPIO pins soldered on (again, minimise height) and more RAM.”
“I have tried earlier R Pi and they have not used them, too much of a learning curve.
The bundle of R Pi 3A+, NOOBS SD Card, 3 port usb with ethernet and the official power supply, has got "MyMedia for Alexa" operating as my home music server with minimal problems. If you are looking at this as a project I would suggest a powered USB external port and bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
Now going to attach the CD drive for ripping my CD's. and the remote terminal software for my Mac so the PI can sit in a very small box on the WiFi network.”
