“As a beginner, without the the Micro-HDMI, working "headless" (without a screen) may take a bit of an effort. There are plenty of tutorials out there to help you.
I am using my pi with a 16GB Sandisk micro SD and it works fine. Used it as an Adblocker and a VPN.
The Pi community is great and LOTS of help. Just be prepared for a very steep learning curve!”
