“In summary, I typically buy the Raspberry Pi Zero W when I have budget, space and energy consumption constraints for my project. Resolutions to such constraints are paid for with lower computation capabilities.
In order to get the most out of your Pi Zero W, I will recommend that you use the Raspbian Lite as the operating system. Although the hardware specifications for the Raspberry Pi Zero W is inferior to Pi 4B or Pi 3B+, a Pi Zero W has a much smaller form factor. Since a Raspberry Pi Zero W has less computation power, it also consumes less energy than Pi 4B and Pi 3B+.
When you are cognizant about such tradeoffs, you will be able to build your next IoT project with the Raspberry Pi Zero W.”
“Perfect little device. Running pi-hole on first and now developing a PAN GPS logger over Bluetooth on second. Ideal for small scale headless projects. Can't recommend too highly. I can see me buying more in due course. Pimoroni's service is impeccable”
