“I decided to buy this base as my wife had a habit of knocking the remote off the bedside cabinet which eventually ended the remote and forced us to buy a replacement! Obviously this is a custom base for the Sonoff Wireless Remote RM433R1 and RM433R2 and I must say its a great design. It can be mounted in place of a standard light switch on the wall if you were using it to control a hard wired constant live light/fan, and the screws come with the mounting base. It also comes with 3M double sided stickers to mount anywhere else you'd like. We have now mounted it on our wooden headboard with the stickers.
The fitting of the remote in the base is snug but not tight, and the base has a magnet inside which holds the remote by just the right amount to remove it easily, which is the real plus point of this base - it's easy to mount and dismount the remote just when you need it. Well worth the investment in my opinion.”
