“Nice little pad, works great with my Pi, I thought the L/R 2 buttons would be a pain to use as they are inline with each other (not behind the L/R 1 buttons) but it works quite well given the shape of the controller. The D-pad is the best bit (nostalgia wise), just like a Nintendo pad. Slight confusion over which mode to connect to Pi with, as even though it says it supports it, it neglected to mention which mode to use - I used Nin Switch mode to connect in the end, you only need to do that once so it's no big problem.”
“I was sceptical on purchasing this due to the price but after the limited lifespan of cheaper wired controllers took the plunge. It took me a little while to connect this to my raspberry pi but now it's connected, I'm thrilled with it. So much so I may have to purchase another one for the odd occasion someone wants a 2 player game.
Excellent controller and highly recommended!”
“The Bluetooth won't connect, and yes, I followed the tutorial and updated everything. I paired a PS4 controller after failing with this one to see if I missed a step, but that paired up fine. It still works with the cable, but I really wanted to be wireless.”
“Perfect for playing retro games on my Raspberry Pi.
The L2/R2 buttons are on the same level as L1/R1, which is a different setup to what you might be used to with other controllers, but you get used to it very quickly.
The digi-pad feels excellent, the buttons have a good feel to them, and the analog sticks are a nice addition.
All-in-all, very happy with the controllers, with a great retro design that finishes off my Retropie!”
