“Pretty solid in terms of sound quality. Can be used in either mono or stereo. The only complaint I've got is incredibly loud bootup/shutdown/sync sounds.”
“They look really nice and the twin pairing thing works really easily and quickly: it switches pretty seamlessly between stereo mode and single speaker mode.
Was kinda hoping I could connect both to the same device but not in stereo mode (so as to have two speakers broadcasting the same thing), but I haven't found out a way to do that yet without bluetooth 5.
It is made of cheap-ish plastic, but they feel fairly sturdy regardless.
Another kink is that the buttons on top, while cute in the sape of a d-pad, is not ideal for speaker controls, as the different buttons are not easily distinguishable. You always have to check the tiny symbol next to each button to make sure you're not turning the thing off instead of increasing the volume.
A last kink that disturbs my OCD is how they don't perfectly fit one on top of the other without pressing the buttons on the bottom.
The quality of the sound is of course not the best, but definitely better then your average laptop or integrated monitor speakers, so it works quite well for my needs.
They are nonetheless tiny, cute, convenient, and easily mobile. I've only used them for a day, but they seem to be working quite nicely.”
