“I have already purchased a Pibow case that is reddish in colour.
Now I have purchased Pibow that is dark in colour for another RPi.
This is in order to distinguish the two RPi models.
Like my first RPi and Pibow case, I wated to add heatsinks.
However, there was not enough layers in the Pibow case to accommodate the heatsinks.
The kind people at PiMoroni supplied me with two extra No. 2 layers.
The two extra layers had to be each trimmed to accommodate the hdmi, usb-c and 3.5mm audio sockets. The side with the usb connections were also trimmed.
Accordingly, the two No. 2 layers were each in four pieces.
Anyway, it was straightforward to align the pieces with the rest of the layers by placing the extended bolts, purchased separately to the Pibow case, through each of the four holes of the Pibow case.
All the layers are lined up.
The result is that you should get an elegant case that lets you pass through FFC cables for the Picamera and monitor as well as accommodating heatsinks.
In addition, you should still be able to connect a header/hat to the RPi's GPIO after the assembly of the PIbow case with extra layers.”
