“A powerful bit of kit - I am using these Plasma picos with the Neopixels but also planning to get others for different use as the screwed connector gives no-solder access to a couple of GPIOs as well as 5v/gnd.
Each of these is connected to my phone ( or my laptop) using the built in bluetooth so I can set patterns, brightness, speed ( and they automatically turn on at sunset and off at midnight if required ;-) ) Good work from Pimoroni.”
“If you just need to drive an addressable RGB string, the Plasma 2350W is a much simpler solution than adapting a more general purpose development board such as a Pico 2W as all the connectivity is built in. The wireless interface is useful for remotely controlled applications. Apart from the physical differences to the board it just works like an ordinary Pico 2W. Good value.”
