Works fine. It would be good to have a longer version as standard

Very useful to avoid putting strain on the original cable when using longer spacers when the ssd has a heat sink.

Perfect for using the NVME drive with a case. A huge thank you to Pimoroni for the technical support.

This PCIe Flex Cable has allowed me to set up my Raspberry Pi 5 and my NVMe base with a passive cooling case, which wasn’t possible before, as the default cable was not designed for this. Very good product. Also, I’m from Spain and I give Pimoroni a 10 out of 10 for the trouble-free delivery to my home and the support they’ve provided.

After a hamfister person at work (in a school) was not careful with the original, I opted to buy a number of these (to keep as spares). Its great that you can get these, took 2 mins to swap out the damaged one and replalce it with this one and boom, off the pi with nvme went again. Spot on little piece of kit to keep your pi and nvme happy and talking nicely! (the indicators of which end is which... THANK YOU!!!!

I bought the NVMe Base for Raspberry Pi 5 by Pimoroni, and I wanted to continue using the official Raspberry Pi 5 bumper. So, I also purchased the 50mm PCIe PIPE and used the standoffs that come with the base to mount it between the base and the bumper. Then, I used some spare, longer standoffs between the base and the Raspberry Pi 5, increasing the gap between them and improving airflow. I could fit a heatsink on the SSD, but it doesn't seem necessary at the moment.
