“After researching other NVMe Bases for the Raspberry PI 5, I waiting for the Pimoroni to become available. What is unique is the ribbon cable has an offset jag that, when installed, travels to the side of the MicroSD card slot. Unlike the others, it does not block the use of the MicroSD card.
A bigger win was 8 day delivery, awesome visibility in tracking of the kit AND, best - the instructions. Pimoroni not only had an awesome watch me install video, but the written instructions on their site documented how to configure the PI and clone the OS to the MBMe base.”

The only bit of trouuble is connecting the flat ribbon cable with my big fingers, but it went right the first time and worked the first time.
I really like the fact that it is plaved on the bottom side of the Raspberry Pi 5 and that leaves the GPIO pins fully accessable. When I purchase my next Pi 5, I will also order another kit to put on that one too.”
