So far so good. Fan and software piece of cake to install. Have it running as a Docker host on Raspberry Pi 64 bit. Only got Home Assistant Migrated so far, but everything feels very snappy. Have 10 or so other apps I want to run. So far it's just idling along at a few percent RAM/CPU, so lots of headroom. Migrated the contents of the SD card to a USB 3 NVMe SSD at the weekend. Works really well. Time will tell how the fan bearings hold up. They're ok currently.

This kit is fantastic value for money, and provides everything that an existing computer user needs to get started right away. I purchased the 8GB Raspberry Pi 4 to replace an almost-decade-old x86 Linux laptop, as it's been a long-term goal to move away from machines that are overkill for my computing requirements, and it's much snappier than the machine that it replaced. It's an absolute joy to use, and it's very nice to use something that's purpose-built for Linux (especially now that Raspberry Pi OS has had so many years in the wild), rather than having to jump through hoops to remove unwanted software from other pre-built hardware. All of the other parts in the kit are of equally high quality, and the Fan SHIM in particular is a well-chosen (and fun to build) inclusion. It would have been nice to get the option of having an HDMI adapter instead of a full cable, though, since this bundle is so good as a drop-in replacement for an old computer. The service from Pimoroni was excellent, and the entire order arrived very quickly, and very well-packed. Highly recommended.

Really good value, cheaper than all the individual parts together. The Fan Shim included is amazing. It doesn't spin up often but when you push your pi and it gets hot this comes in to the rescue getting it cool within seconds and therefore keeping pi performance at its max. The HDMI cable included is good quality. The power supply is the official Raspberry Pi one. The bundle is everything you need minus a monitor, keyboard and mouse (which most of us have kicking about anyway!). I now use this as my day to day desktop PC (python, inkscape, gimp, office and web). And pimoroni rock, fast delivery and first class service is an added bonus!

The Pi 4 8GB Amazebundle is, in my opinion, a very good value-for-money bundle. You get the Pi4 with 8 gigs of RAM, a Pimoroni Fanshim for cooling, an official Raspberry Pi 4 power supply, a micro HDMI cable and a small SD card. You've got everything needed to get going immediately, provided you already own peripherals like mouse & keyboard and all that jazz. Personally, I bought the Pi 4 to run GitLab on it for in-house repository management and CI/CD tests because I want to gather experience and knowledge about these things. The Pi 4 is perfectly suited for that, especially with 8 GB RAM it has RAM to spare. It's an amazing little workhorse.

Excellent kit with plenty of resources for running all kinds of projects. I'm using it for a kodi/tvheadend service.
