“Easy to program, like the size and the integrated buttons which simplify incorporating into a project.
I have used this in my latest clock project a "Dual Spiral Marble Clock".
This project also uses the RV3028 Real-Time Clock (RTC) Breakout and the Pimoroni Pico LiPo 4Mb a couple of stepper motors and some custom electronics. Utilising a combination of 3D printed and handmade parts in metal, acrylic and wood.”
“the display does exactly what it's supposed to. Programming is pretty easy with the Iron Python version from Pimoroni. I haven't tried to install the necessary files without the offered custom uf2 file, but I guess it's also possible.
The display is easy to read from although I haven't tried to lower the Background lighting below 80%. Colors are nice and vivid. Can highly recommend the display for everyone using a Pico.”
“I was teaching a game design class, bough these displays and PICO's. The students had a fantastic time playing with them and developing games. The buttons can stand up to a large amount of use!
Absolutely the best addition to my class!”
“Love this product. The libraries and documentation are top-notch. The pixel aspect ratio does not seem to be square, so do take that into account if you are doing some precise design work. I know, but it is the designer in me.”
“I just tried only the demos so far and I am very impressed by the performance with micropython. setup was super quick and easy due to excellent documentation. the only thing missing for 5 * : quiick/ Stemma connector and neopixel instead of rgb led”
