I already had the Audio Amp SHIM, so I knew this would work perfectly.

This is my second one of these. They sound great. Be aware they are quite fiddly to solder to the pi. This time around soldered my own header on, which de-risks messing up a whole Pi if you get it wrong! Think you only need to solder one row of pins based on one row being round (to be soldered) and another oval (presumably not to be soldered) given the marginal cost and faff other options are available and hence my 4 /5 score.

I installed this on a RPi zero 2 W with PiCorePlayer installed, and fed the output into an old Bose Soundlink Mini that I had lying around. The audio quality is very good (for the price). Much better than my squeezebox radio

I used this for my pocketable audio streamer. I mostly use this in my home office but I have taken it mobile to listen on vacation or at a friend's house. Very simple to connect and get it working in Volumio which is my prefered os for my tiny streamer. With the pi zero w it has been a great option.

Trouble free installation and use, thanks. But I did have a little difficulty getting the jack to fit snugly into the socket.
