“What I like:
-The construction seems sturdy.
-The interface is responsive.
-From what I can tell, it looks like the toolchain is almost there to make this easy enough for a novice to learn embedded and game development using this platform.
What I don't like:
-The analog joystick likes the axes too much. Running the hardware test (which is a neat little program) showed me how hard it was to get a bead off-axis. I believe it's a mechanical issue, but it could be software.”
“I haven't played with the kit much yet, but many thanks for including a lot of awesome content pre-installed,, can't wait to program my own effect as soon as I can.
It looks cool, it sounds loud!”
“According to the built in demos, the product is very powerful and looks promising however the resources are really hard to understand for beginners and seems more focus toward expert programmers. I really don't care if the product took some delay to be finished but the learning resources should really be improved a lot to help beginners make sense of everything. I feel like a kid having a shiny new toy that I don't know how to use and that I'd need an older uncle to help me make it work. This is very frustrating. I guess for expert C++ programmers, this is a wonderful product but not for normal people. Be very careful if you buy it or wait until the promised tutorials in C++ and Lua come out.”
“Although this product has a pretty steep learning curve, it has worked perfectly out of the box. It has sturdy manufacturing, solid software and great hardware involved.”
